About the Role: Are you a passionate leader with experience in OSHC or educational program management? Talent Focus is partnering with a local P&C to recruit a dedicated Director/Coordinator for their vibrant Out of School Hours Care service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, support your team, and deliver a high-quality program that makes a real difference in children’s lives. What You’ll Be Doing: Policies & Compliance: Keep policies up-to-date, implement compliance systems, and ensure your team is trained on all legislative requirements (WHS, Education & Care National Law, Child Protection, Food Safety). Quality Management: Lead assessments against ACECQA standards, maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), and identify opportunities to elevate service delivery. Program Oversight: Oversee and support the educational program, guiding your Educational Leader and ensuring engaging, high-quality activities. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage staff; conduct performance reviews; maintain rosters; and foster a positive, collaborative culture. Professional Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the broader community; prepare quarterly reports for the P&C Sub Committee. Operations & Administration: Manage enrolments, bookings, payments, budgets, and grievance processes efficiently. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience managing OSHC or similar educational programs. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements. Experience developing and implementing policies. Leadership and team management skills that inspire and motivate. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
